Missy, Seth, and more...

Follow up on Missy... she is doing very well, although she does have some recovery ahead of her. The fact that she's alive the doctor's have said again and again is a miracle. Here are some pics of us from her wedding day and also the latest pics of the artwork I made for her little boy, Dylan.

She ended up keeping the one with the boat for her master bathroom, and eery piece to the story is that the morning she had her cardiac arrest, there was a loud noise that woke she and Josh up at about 4am. Missy got up to check on it, and so Josh heard her collapse and performed CPR. Apparently these cardiac arrests often happen during sleep, so it's a really good thing she and Josh were both up when it happened. Missy told me yesterday that the loud noise that woke them up was that that painting randomly fell of their wall. ??

Our friend, Seth, also had a scare last night. He was in a motorcyle accident and fractured his wrist. He went into a barbwire fence and has some deep lacerations. When I heard "motorcyle accident" my heart sank, but luckily his injuries are pretty minor considering what could have happened.

I have very special and lucky friends!!!!!!!!

I never got around to posting updates on here before Missy's health scare, so here goes...

Our friends/neighbors had their baby, Kolton. He is healthy and perfect. Such a beautiful little guy.

We had a fun 4th. We went with friends to one of their parents in Carlos (you may have heard of Carlos Creek Winery). Festivities ranged from canoeing to pumping kegs to shooting guns. Total redneck weekend!

We did bring the dogs with us for the 4th, and they had SO much fun running around unleashed all weekend. It was nice to watch them play together and really be dogs. It sounds lame, but it really does warm my heart. :)

(...Seriously, Izzy is smiling, isn't she??!)
